Is there a way to make every owner more charitable?

I know it's not entirely realistic, but without something like a salary cap it's hard to simulate all the teams being on equal economic footing. Is there any way to edit the owners of the teams so that they're all at least SOMEWHAT similar with their budgets they give out?

If you go into Commissioner mode from your manager options page, you can edit budgets, Owner ratings, and any other team financials you want to change for every team in your league.

I'm assuming you mean the individual way, I was speaking more in terms of a general option to equalize them all at a set point

You can put them on a bit more equal footing. In your league financial options you can adjust local and national media contracts. If you make them all the same then the financial difference will be gate revenue, merchandise revenue and playoff revenue. This means the winning teams will make more money but they should not make massive amounts more than the average and losing teams. It is similar to an NFL model where all Media Contracts are dolled out pretty equally to all teams but there is still room to make more money by winning.

You may have to do some maintenance on this every couple of years.

Check the options, I cannot remember if the game allows you to make all local media revenue the same. I am almost positive it allows you to make all National Media Revenue locked at the same amount.
