1 uniform request, please?

Good day, everyone! Thanks for the opportunity to converse via this forum!

I am seeking 1 uniform for my Rhode Island Scholars of the RIBC -
(Rude Island Baseball Congregation Home)

I am seeking a set of road greys, and have the KC Monarchs jersey in my head as a basis of idea.

Given the depth and breadth of the abilities shown within this forum, may I humbly request the creation of this jersey in grey with RI-blue pinstripes, and an 'R' and 'I' instead of KC, in a similar font? (Blue with Yellow outline'd letters)
Kansas City Monarchs 1945 Authentic Home Jersey

Thanks so very much, and I look forward to the unveiling!

BTW: I am simply non-plussed with this example, but am currently using it until the replacement is ready!

PS: Here are the home uni's I created, in case you might think I'm merely sponging off the talents of others. Rather, I got a new PC and my Adobe Photoshop didn't transfer over before disposing of the old HD!
(yes, I know the '8' isn't seen in-game: it's a personal tribute to Gary Carter. and yes, that age's me. meh. )

The R and the I centering is crap... the I just doenst have the width of the R. I included a 2nd version with the RI on the side. I also did a new cap for the heck of it.

WHOAaaaaa.... that cap is QUITE the novel creation, isn't it?
I think me likey... and BTW: `PIE` is the greek initials for Rhode Island Scholars)

Re: Jersey
You are correct on the centering issue, seems like semantics from this PoV. I might actually PREFER the font you`ve chosen, too!

I`ll submit these to our commish and see how they gen in-game!

I`ll be in touch sir... well done! Here, here!

Having said that, if anyone ELSE would like to flex their creative muscles, please feel free to do so!

Here again is the original basis for my idea:
(Please replace "red KC on blue with red-on-blue piping" with "Blue RI on yellow with blue on yellow piping")

and just for fun, why not go with the 1942 KC hat, too... replaced with RI specs, of course! :-)

Do you want the jersey to be 'old' in appearance or modern?

If modern, you've got the best modern uniform creator already with a submission.

I don't know if vintage is what you're looking for, but here's my take based off the old Clowns' jersery. Both have been changed to jpg images by the board, so if you want the in a png to use in the game, let me know.

Cooley question for ya?

Why r the pinstripes squiggly? same with the piping? along the buttons on the left side. i noticed that with the Blue Sox uniform also...is it just the template that some people use...i noticed that on Marberi's uniforms also...maybe even a few of Gern's....I ask only ciuz i have been reading the PSP tutorials IO am trying to work on a uniform and am bound and determined to get it right w/o asking for help by davwms or Gern. and the uni I am working on has pinstripes.

I think it's to enhance the shape of the wrinkles in the uniform at those points.

If I'm wrong someone can correct me, but if you look at the places where they get squiggly, there are wrinkle effects added.

didnt notice that before, figured it had to do with the template they were using.

I was/am seeking a vintage look, to be quite honest. In grey.

Gern44's effort is top-shelf, of course. And his adaptation of the cap is food for thought, as mentioned in my reply.

I also appreciate the Clowns' look - i had actually wondered how it would turn out if I were to customize to the Scholars' specs... and now I no longer have to wonder, for there it is!... of course, the cap is still a cause for curiosity! ;-) ()

But I digress... I merely long for the days when I had the talent to complete such works as yours and Gern44's... alas, those days are gone. :-(

These are very close...and the cap is just 'out there' enough to work?

I will in-game gen them too and post. May I have the .png's sent to my address at jtpaterson@gmail.com?

...Perhaps I shall set up a poll and let the people decide our road uniforms!? :-)

Done. The email with the .png files has been sent.

Posting screen shots of these in game and letting people decide through a poll sounds good, yep. That's what I'd do myself.
