I'm unhappy with my playing time
Ok so I have pitcher that was a starter the entire season, he made all his starts and when the post season I went to a three man rotation and moved him to the set up role for the good of the team in the playoffs.
I go to sign this guy to an extension and he tells me he wants to test the market because he's unhappy about his playing time but he started all season...I don't get it

Is this with the latest patch 6.12? If not this has been adjusted as it sounds like Markus found an issue where this would occur in rare cases.

reminds me of pitchers that would complain that they're not starting as soon as I bump them down to MR, they want to be traded because their not starters anymore.
Of course with that, I just say "then yo shoudlnt have been racking up a 6.x era then"

I have a similar issue, although it won't affect me as it will the WWBL Commissioner. My rookie SP Sean Marshall began the season as my #4 starter and has consistently started all season (And is doing quite well) and yet he still is unhappy with this playing time. I thought it might have had something to do with pitch counts, but looking back through his games its apparent that he never approached the 120 Pitch limit I had on him. As is, I'll still have two more seasons at League Minimum and then three years of arbitration, but its rather concerning since this might happen with a player who is actually going to hit free agency.

If he's racking up a 6.xx ERA, why keep him!?

I'm using 6.12 I looked at what he was asking for eariler in the season and then got the "Not happy with the playing time" response even before the first playoff game, all i had done was move him to the pen, hadnt even played a game yet since I moved him.
