Exclamation Team ERAs way too high for regular season, any way to fix?

I have gotten the iOS version of OOTP every year and last year I predominately did fake leagues so this didn't matter much to me, but this year I want to play with MLB rosters and it really just kills the immersion for me with how crazy high team ERAs are. I did around 6 years with the Mariners and having an ERA of around 4 was always on of the top ones in the AL, which it shouldn't be.

So I started a new year and simmed a season just to see how high ERAs are compared to the actual MLB.

2014: 3.74
2013: 3.86
2012: 4.01
2011: 3.94

MLB Manager
2015: 4.215
2016: 4.245

I have also noticed the yearly OPS is ~.760 and batting average is ~.270 in MLB Manager when it is closer to .715 in real life (.700 last year) and ~.250.

Is there any way you can adjust this league wide or give us an option to tune it like in OOTP? An ERA just under 4 should be middle of the league, not top 5 in baseball.

not sure this is a huge deal....see how it plays out...the A.L. average ERA in 2012 was 4.08....so it fluctuates up and down...and if you really want to feel better...check out the numbers in the steroid era....

I know...I know...not a valid comparison...just saying.

I could be wrong, but I think the developer chose to "boost" offense a bit for 2015, reasoning that most people don't like the current MLB trend of less offense. Maybe that's what you're seeing.

You're saying that the developer did this on purpose? I'm skeptical. :/

I'm pretty sure he did it in OOTP16. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he did it in MLB Manager.

This will be tweaked in patch #2 in the new roster set.
