Ok, My jersey attempt... updated!
Here's some jerseys I've been working on for my Texas League. A couple are stolen whole cloth from existing teams, all the rest use the templates found on the forums here.
In order : Amarillo Sonics, Fort Worth Panthers/Cats, Beaumont Roughnecks, Austin Senators, San Antonio Missions, Arlington Spurs, Corpus Christi Clippers, Odessa Drillers, Lubbock Rustlers, Laredo Owls, Houston Buffaloes, Galveston Buccaneers, Wichita Falls Spudders, Victoria Toros, Midland Colts, and El Paso Diablos A few of the caps need work, but those are more difficult, and honestly, I'm not that good with cap logos :P Now, you may tear them apart, er offer your constructive criticism. If anyone wants them, let me know. Once again, thanks to everyone here for the tutorials and templates. I sure as heck couldn't have done it without those! I don't see anything wrong here. This is a very good set you've got here, Bishop!

Agreed. A very nice job, Bishop. As someone about to embark soon creating his own jerseys (though I may freak out and decide against it), I'm nearly envious. Most of those logo placements and choice of colors make them actually appear sewn in. Good touch!

Thanks. I'll try to work on the other teams tonight if I get a chance. I can't believe I never got around to messing with this before... it does enhance things.

endgame, you'll be fine! We've got a helpful community here and if you are determined, you'll even surprise yourself how easy it really is!

These are pretty sharp Bishop. I can't wait to see what other teams you have.

Those all look good to me.
The Owls remind me of the 80's Astros. I especially like that Bucs jersey. Do you have a template for that one? Last edited by Gern44; 08-12-2010 at 08:15 AM. |

Endgame, I think you'll be surprised how easy, fun, and rewarding doing your own jerseys can be. I recommend Paint.net for an easy to use, free, and powerful program to use. If nothing else, be sure to use a program that supports graphic 'layers' which makes jersey design so much easier (and fun) to do.

Been a while, just got the pm's and looked back on this thread. I've got the unis, I don't have the uploaded anywhere, but sure I can put them together fairly easily.
As far as templates go, I used the jersey templates that were on here a couple of years ago when I posted this thread, just tweaking colors, logos, etc. I need to go back and look over all of it, and hope I can recall how to do it all. If anyone still wants them, I'll put them up with a link in this post in a bit. |

Bishop,
Great work on all of them. I really like the "Spurs" uniform. Is there anyway you could post it in the forum...so I can copy it for my game? I can't open the .rar you left a link to. Thanks. Oh, btw this is the last uniform I just completed.

Thanks for the tip of the hat.....on the hat. Pun intended LOL.
I really ain't sure I could do that again LOL. Sad thing is it doesn't show that well in the game.
