A suggestion for perfect cards
I am not someone who pulls a lot of these. But I have a small handful and have seen lots of others. Their current design does not really make them 'pop'
Gold and Diamond instantly stand out. The current perfect card is sort of a shiny black that is not terribly different from iron. My proposal would be for OOTP XXI to keep calling them perfect cards but make them a very shiny platinum color. Silver is similar but lacks the luster in game of what I am imagining for a platinum color. |

While I agree that perfect cards don't pop as they should, I'm not sure platinum is the best choice since platinum is less valuable than gold.

"Green" backs...since you have to spend a lot of greenbacks on them?

Ruby, emerald or 'pink diamond' would also work. Just a pop of color to make them stand out a bit more.

leave them "un-metaled" right through 60, and change it to 70-79 bronze 80-89 silver, 90-99 gold, 100 diamonds.
Rubies, Tangerine crystals, graphite, there's a lot of interesting rocks/metals out there. I can't think of one right now that fits a 100 vs. a 90-99 diamond so that's why I said the other part. Just rambling. |

Um...the color for perfect cards is actually obsidian.
Which is only 500 times sharper than steel. But yeah...let's go with pink instead. Cuz reasons. |

Would not mind one of these for my ace pitcher. 4-5% increased in pitch speed(which I assume increased Stuff) 4.5-6% increased in strikeout chance Reduced resting time by 4-7% Reduced stamina cost per pitch by 5-7% No Durability loss(not a thing in current PT) All in all, a solid item for a SP. P.S. If there are freaking items in PT22, I call it first. |

But yeah, they should not switch it to Platinum because it's worth bunk-all these days. |

Good call. I was predicting Path of Exile and am wrong. And there's Stone of Jordan in D3 too, not sure if it's as useful as it is in D2 though.
----------------------------------------------------- As for the topic at hand, I always thought the shiny bling bling cards are for teenagers and would not be as popular in OOTP? Not sure if it's a correct move to go bling here. Last edited by Goliathus; 07-10-2019 at 11:30 AM. |

My vote is for the Pink Diamond with a Burgundy frame.
