A few suggestions for additions
Love PT and the challenge that goes along with it. Here are a few constructive suggestions to make it easier on everyone:
1) A filter in the Transaction History that would show only player transactions. Sometimes I go through to see what I sold or bought a player for and have to wade through tens of pages of accomplishments. 2) This would be especially useful for LIVE cards....some sort of ledger sheet that would show what we bought a card for and what their current average value is. Right now we have to right click on each player and "put them up for auction" to see their values. 3) In the Player search and compare tool, we are only able to see their current year stats and only for the league we are in. Is there a way that we can see a players' current stats at ALL levels? The SCOPE function is there but when you set it to a level different than yours it always comes up "0". It would be good to see how a certain player is performing in other leagues and also at other levels. This can help determine if a player can help you at the next level, or even during the season at your current level. Thoughts? Feasible or pipe dream? |

For cards like historical all stars or one hit wonders, I’d also like to be able to “flip” the card and see a bio on the player and what merited them getting a card. This would be especially helpful for early 20th century players.

I'd really enjoy being able to read player bios as well. It'd be a lot of work to do manually, but I guess you could just web scrape the opening paragraphs off of players' Wikipedia pages.
Also, on the Type Filter drop down it would be so much more convenient if each option had a check-mark box, as opposed to only being able to select one or all types of cards. |

Any player not familiar to me, I look up myself. That leaves the Dev resources free to do more important things like Tournaments and Collections, etc.

Actually the suggestion with player info is very good. But instead of asking the developers to drive it, it would be nice to have the functionality but with empty data and an external file/files that get loaded by the game. In other words, the community can finish the file or files that are loaded.

I'm absolutely one to go immediately to baseball reference for info on guys I don't know, but I'd love to get the devs' input. That personal touch would make it way more interesting than scraping Wikipedia for a bio. Side note: I'm also hoping we find cards in the future with finite ID's. For example, Ruth PEAK (1/250). Think it'd be fun to add a collector aspect like that.
