Amateur Draft settings NOT functioning properly.

Had set for there to remain the default 35 rounds, but create players for 40 rounds. Game goes ahead and drafts for 40 rounds. When draft is set to be 35....

Amateur Draft Number of Rounds > 35
Generate Players for X Rounds > 40

Game acts as if both are set to 40.

I am having the exact same issue. I have it set to 35 rounds and create players for 37 rounds. The game acts as if it is for 40 rounds, but stops at 37 when it runs out of players. Was there ever a solution found for this issue?

Are you playing historical? If so it's just stopping when the real draft class runs out of players. The draft creation settings don't affect historical play. If you're not playing historical, then we'd probably need to see league files, as mentioned to the op.
