Hi, I am Ronnie and I am new to hockey.... :0)

As the title of this thread says, I am a new hockey fan. Went to see our local Syracuse Crunch for the first time this week. I know nothing about hockey other than I loved it! I have played OOTP Baseball and Title Bout for years. I would love to immerse myself in this game but of course, with no real "hockey knowledge" I don't even have an idea where to start.

I know there is a game manual that basically tells you where all the stuff is but does anyone have any suggestions on how I can learn what to even be looking for when building a team? Is there already an existing thread for goof balls like me that can help? Any links?

Sorry for being such a newbie, I have been watching more hockey, incuding YOUTUBE "How to play Hockey" and "Hockey Rules" videos to have a better understanding, but just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions as it applies to the game??? Thanks for all of the help!!
