Need help with a Recalc question

I am playing historical and going to use Recalc for the first time.

I am switching Recalc on after several seasons with it off and just using player development on with historical totals modifier on.

Questions are:

1) If I leave player development on that will just affect ratings during the season since the Recalc will adjust everyone's ratings back to their historical "norms" at the end of the season?

2) I am using Recalc at 3 year setting. Good choice?

3) What should I do about the league totals modifier? Should I turn it off and set all of the modifers back to 1 since I am using recalc?

Any help would be great, thanks!

To clarify on #3, if I set it to off for importing or adjusting league totals modifiers based on historical accuracy, will the game still use the modifiers that are there? I did not start this league with recalc on so the modifiers have been adjusted many times automatically. Make sense?

It seems like after the CPU does the recalc (after the playoffs are over) it momentarily takes control of your team resetting your depth charts and adjusting your rosters. I have my team options set so that only I can adjust rosters but the CPU ignores that and does it anyway when it recalcs.

Can this be stopped or is it just part of doing business? I guess I could look at it as an extra challenge since the CPU completely screws up my team! LOL!

Recalc resets all the ratings so OOTP resets all the roosters.

Rooster resetification is on porpoise.

Ok last question...I think!

Will recalc change a player's personality and injury ratings? Or is it just hitting, pitching, running, fielding, etc?

Player personality and injuries gots nuttin' to do with it. Sorta like if you hit the OOTP recalc button and your girlfriend gets pregnant, the two ain't really got nuthin to do with each other. If you think they do, you need help.
