Historical Mod Draft

Hello guys, Im having a problem in my game( Its probably on my side, but I need a hand)

So I started a game in 1997 with the habs and it seems that at the end of the season there's no entry draft. Is it normal? It looks like the players such as Iginla are simply free agent. Can I change that, if so how do I do that?

When are you looking for the draft? In Historical it is in early July.

You either haven't reached that point yet, or you have selected the option at the start of the game to have players enter the game at age 17 (which means they will be assigned to the teams as they were signed/drafted) with no drafts. In other words, if you selected that, you will be automatically assigned Eric Chouinard since it's who the Habs picked in the first round in 1998. You will not have the opportunity to change your team's fate with a better draft choice.
