License Issue - Surface Pro
I have a ticket in to get a license reset, but in case that doesn’t get resolved quickly, I just want to make sure no one has had issues using their license on a Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
I put the serial number in on the Surface it said I did not have any seats available. I went into the old laptop and released that license, it said that was successful and I then only saw demo mode. Seems like the release worked. Went back to the Surface and got the same message, no available licenses. Went back to old laptop and licensed, and it worked great.
So, like I said, I do have a ticket in for a reset but the issue is really not that I am using up the license seats. Just checking if anyone has had an issue using the Windows laptop license on the Surface. Shouldn’t be the case, I know.
