Never. The cutoff man never throws home, or to ..

..any other base for that matter. just holds the ball.

I see it happen... But it goes both ways. For the time it happens to me, later it happens to the CPU.

Does it bother you enough when it affects the CPU and you score on it or just the other way around where they score on you?

Both, especially when the bug effects the outcome of the game.

You have to understand this is not a physics based 3d game that depends on what the ball and players do. The cutoff man didn't cost you the game the result said the runner was supposed to score so the 3d just shows you what happened. What should get fixed is the variety of that result which includes the cut off man attempting the throw.

I agree, except the variety part doesn't exist at all. The cutoff man never throws home under any circumstance.

I've seen infield singles hit directly to my 1B who never made an attempt to run to the base and get the out in 18. There was no error committed on the play, either. So I just chalked it up to something happened that prevented the first baseman from getting the out in the engine and left it at that.
same. I thought I read somewhere that the PbP is correct & it's a matter of getting the on-screen action to match.

once I had that mindset, stuff like this (& OFers taking bad angles to balls, balls not hitting the OF wall, throws to base, etc) didn't really bother me as much.
