Exclamation 1979 Rangers

Hey guys, another historical season problem has come. I seem to set my roster and it keeps sayin that 19 guys are already dressed and there is an open leftwing spot on the fourth line. Why wont it let me dress a 20th player?

That's not actually a problem The game uses the real NHL rules for how many players can dress in a given year. In 1979 it was 19. So that's working correctly!

See this link for the year by year breakdown.

I tried playing then with 19 players and an open left wing spot and it will not let me play though with an open spot.

Well, pretty sure you do need to fill it. Use a player from another line or a D-Man at 4th line lw as well as their primary position.
