Playing OOtp on Windows 10 laptop and after several games it stops responding. Anyone else having this issue or is there a fix for this?

Just happened to me. 3rd game I played and it stopped responding in the top of the 9th.

I would guess that for some reason your system resources are starting to max out.

As I just mentioned in another thread with a similar issue, the first steps would be to make sure that you're running as few other programs as possible at the same time as OOTP. If you have programs that have to run at the same time, like an anti-virus/firewall, then it's a more or less a necessity to whitelist OOTP in those programs so that they won't interfere with it.

Beyond that, restarting your computer can sometimes help with this sort of thing, especially if you tend to leave it on without restarting for days at a time.

If that doesn't help, let us know your system specs by replying here and we can try to do some more troubleshooting.

For anyone still experiencing this problem, my anti-virus actually has a 'Game Mode' where it keeps the anti-virus software silent during any 'active' games. This completely solved the Not Responding' issue for me.

I use System Mechanic but have not found any Game Mode or way to "white list" anything. Perhaps it is not doable with all systems?

In theory, any good anti-virus/anti-malware program should have a whitelist. I'm not familiar with System Mechanic, but I tried looking it up and couldn't find a way to a program whitelist in it. In looks like it's not really an anti-virus though, more of a PC optimizer. If that's the case, it might not necessarily have whitelist, and you might need to whitelist OOTP in whatever anti-virus you're using, which might even just be Windows Defender.
