Adding Leagues after initial setup
I am testing a historical set-up.
I started in 2005 with MLB (and minors) and also included the Nippon league. Simmed 2 seasons and added a number of additional leagues to my world. When I did this, the new leagues do not seem to be activated (ie no games, stats, etc). MLB World and NBL are working fine. Is there anything I need to turn to make these added leagues live. Thanks. |

maybe not important, but if you did it during their season, it may take a year's cycle before it starts?
if you haven't simmed out to the next year, test that and see if they start - generate schedule in their offseason - that should be automatic. only when you change something in that league do you need to generate schedules. a wholey new league should do that on it's own unless maybe it's midstream and has to wait for a particular time of year. double check any schedule dates and such for conflicts. i'd go through any league setting for one of the new leagues that's not working right and double check for oddities. i've hit soem extra keys before and didn't realize 1 key was 'tab' and i typed nonsense into a settings input box... took a bit before i realized what happened... i never saw where the cursor went, initially. |
