Contract Maximum Limit Exceeded HELP!

Its October 2nd and VGK have a few players on waivers. But when i go to sim the day it gives me a warning saying "Contract Maximum Limit Exceeded"

Please see pictures below. I am 36/50 players under contracted.

Is this a bug? I cannot play!!!

I am trying to claim a player off waivers however, I keep getting a message saying
"contract limit reached"

If your league allows contract buyouts during the regular season you can right click a name and pick that option. If it doesn't - you are stuck until buyout window (I think it runs between June 15th and June 30th) or until current contract runs out.

I got. I've been looking at it, but I can't see anything obvious that would cause the problem. There are a few strange things, like players on your protected list who were signed by you and sent to the minors, but no longer appear to have a contract with you (e.g. Rydberg), and a couple (Brown and Reinhart) who crash the game when I click on them. Have you done much editing of players, particularly their contracts? I don't see a quick fix to get it working, but I'll hand it over to Malte, he'll have to dig into it a little deeper to find the exact source of the problem and see if we can fix the save.

Or clear contract space by trading players away for draft picks.

Thats just great! Yes i did edit contract only after i got that message. This is the 3rd time i will be starting over! Not happy at all. Going to have to request a refund. I hope Malte can fix it so others are not dealing with the same issue. This bug makes this game broken.

It looks like the problem is with one of your farm teams, Quad Cities. They've somehow become stuck with one player above their allowed contract limit. If you find the player Kristaps Baževičs and edit both his "current team" and "contracted to" to free agent, you'll be able to continue.

I can still sim past and such but for some reason Major Juniors can only sign 29 players aka 29/30 not 30/30

If you look through the Contracts screens of the three junior leagues, are any of the teams at 30/30? I see a few when I check, so it may be something specific to your team. Have you edited any contracts?
