Simulating Our Amateur Baseball League
Hello!
I play in an awesome league in Minnesota called the Twin Cities Men's Amateur Baseball League (TCMABL). (https://www.tcmabl.com) And we have a very nerdy following that loves the league and can't get enough of it. We also have a great website where we keep historical stats for the league for the past 15 or so years. So to my question: I'd like to create the league in OOTP and run simulations. We have over 400 team seasons and thousands of player seasons worth of data in excel files. What would be the easiest way to go about setting this up? It would be very easy to get an excel file with all TCMABL players, their stats, and teams and then I could come up with a simple formula to convert those stats to the OOTP rating system. However, I can't seem to find where to upload this big csv file to have the league set up. I see the players files and teams files, but editing them doesn't change the teams in my league. I feel like there is an easy way to do this but I've already poured hours into the project with nothing to show for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
