Final Live Update

Is next Monday the final Live card update, and will ratings then be locked in OOTP 20?

I like the additional strategy that Live updates have provided, but have found the weekly updates too numerous to really track and respond to. I wish the updates were on a biweekly or maybe monthly frequency.

The weekly updates seem more tailored to aggressive auction strategists than to more passive, long term strategy managers who play static lineups until the next opportunity to add an upgrade.

I know it would take a little work but could the last update contain the data for each player, week by week in separate columns. It would be nice to see how a player has gone up and down during the season. Only looking at a two week period doesn't give a good indication how they have progressed over the entire season.

I have done this on my own in a spreadsheet using your weekly data. However, I'm sure I have probably made some mistakes with my copy and paste exercise each week.

Good idea. All that info is on the forum. How about you compile it and share with the rest of us?

Final update should be after the world series. Gives a chance for upgrade to playoff players or award winners.

We generate that file each week, but attachment size on the forums doesn't allow us to upload that. I'll see if we can find another solution

Well, as a team, we decided to end the live updates with the end of the regular season. Instead, we will turn our focus to evaluating the live ratings system, what worked, what didn't, and how we can improve live updates in OOTP 21 and beyond
