Creating Historic Leagues
I just cannot create new historic leagues with ootp3, even when using the correct Lahman 4.0 database. I either get a problem message or stating that the file cannot be opened. I was able to do this with the ootp2 version. I have tried to follow the procedure as given, but it just will not work. Any help will be appreciated.

PLEASE give us some details about your PC, it could be a memory problem or such.

I have a 866 MHz HP computer with 128 mb of memory. Is this possibly not enough memory to import the needed stats for any season from the Lahman database? I do have plenty of hard drive space. Thanks for your help.

Check to make sure your CREATE folder is intact within the OOTP folder. If it is edited or missing that may cause your problems. I believe there should be 10 different .dat files plus the logo .bmp files in that folder.
If that isnt the problem, check to make sure you are indicating the right path to where the Lahman database file is located on your computer (ie c:\stats (and make sure it is not inside the main OOTP folder) [ January 01, 2002: Message edited by: Tiger Fan ]</p>
