Issue after the latest version was installed

I bought the game way back when it was released. Haven't played it for awhile, but was going to get back into it tonight. I downloaded the new version and when it was done and I opened the game my only 2 options were 'purchase game' or 'enter license key.'

Is there any way to get my game back? I love playing, but don't currently have the extra money to buy it again, being a broke college student.

Did you down load from the right server; eseller, fast springs, or steam? If you bought from eseller, make sure you download from the eseller version, etc.. It is easy to get them mixed up.
