We do have those, actually! Silvam14 got those done, you can look at the pictures and dowloads mentioned in first post in this thread to confirm that the ones you're talking about are there, unless you mean some particular distinctive period that's been combined with another for some parks?

It was home to the Boston Reds in 1890-91.

Just a note here that I have only been creating 3D models for a few months and this is the first park I'm brave enough to share, so I'm certainly open to any feedback. Games are running smoothly so far, but I haven't done a lot of testing yet.
That looks amazing! I look forward to giving it a try.

Here is Recreation Park, home of the Pittsburgh Alleghenys from 1885 to 1890.

Of note is the gravel bicycle track that was in play.

Looks great! After a family visit this week, I think I'm game to try to rejoin the modeling fun for next weekend.

Park doesn't work for me. All black with just the players showing. 3D model shows all black also.

The .obj file looks OK when I preview it on my Mac, and the .mtl file looks reasonable. Only thing that jumps out is that almost all of the textures are .jpg and I think OOTP prefers .pngs? I'm not sure if that would cause that behavior but it might?

I'll have a look and see if I can troubleshoot for real when I get home from work. I decided a while ago that it'd be bad news for me to put OOTP on my work laptop.

Actually, it seems to look fine to me, at least in this part of the game. Black except for the players sounds like the game is looking in the wrong place for the .obj file and textures--Zappa1, I imagine you've done this a million times, but how did you import the stadium into OOTP? And are you on a PC or a Mac?

I am on windows 11. I've done it like I've always done my ballparks. Download and unzip to my desktop. Then copy that folder into the models folder of the ballparks folder in OOTP24. All my others work fine. That's why I don't get it why it's not working.

Ok so I downloaded the file again and tried it and now it works. Go figure. Maybe the 1st download was corrupted some how. Anyway sorry for the headaches. I know I got one right now. haha

Good to hear! Thank you for confirming. I was just assuming I had made a newbie mistake with the file structure.

Yay, good news!

I've seen a lot of random things that I can't explain, including infields that end up covered in the animated crowd texture (which is super creepy), that end up fixing themselves for reasons I also can't explain. I don't always know why our computers do what they do, so I'm always a little bit pleasantly surprised when they do what I expect they should!

Absolutely. Drives you bonkers sometimes. I tried some stuff that didn't work so I thought, let me start from the beginning again. Very fine ballpark. Like it and glad I could play it. Thanks.

PG2 Teaser

I thought I was going to tackle Pittsburgh's Exposition Park (1882 version) next, but it looks like the 1889-1890 Polo Grounds (aka Manhattan Field in its post-baseball life) grabbed me first. It's not quite done yet, but here's a bit of behind-the-scenes so you can see how it looks in Sketchup at the moment... And yes, that's Silvam's Polo Grounds sitting next to it, as in real life!

Yes I love this 19th century stuff. I know 19th century in OOTP is not perfect but it's still very fun to play and the added ballparks make it so cool.
