video resolution

I have been reading about this game for sometime and couldn't wait to download it. I did that but like an idiot I didn't check the minimum video requirements. I have plenty of memory on my laptop but the resolution isn't 1024x768 so the screen is only partially readable. Everything else is fine.

Please tell me that I'm not screwed and need a new computer to play the game. I'm ready to start playing.

Is there anyone else out there who is not using 1024x768 or is there a way I can play the game at all? Thanks for the help.

Try updating your video card drivers.

mine is running at 800X600. Go to graphics setup in the startup menu for ootp4 and enable full screen mode.

Thanks for the help guys.

I tried updating my drivers but nothing has changed. I am going to check again though.
I tried to enable full screen mode but for some reason it won't work. The game runs when full screen is disabled, the only problem is that you can't read the screen real well (my original problem). When I try to enable full screen mode the game trys to start then quits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there was a prograam in the powertoys/tweakui download available from microsoft that allows you change from different resolutions by right clicking and choosing which from the system tray. just make sure you dont change it while the game is open.
