1st Team (G340) Finished 82-82 last season. Pulled Warren Spahn who will be my ace for the season and acquired Brian Giles and Mike Scioscia with saved up PP. Have huge holes at 3B (Don Money) and CF (Ian Happ) which likely means another season around .500.
2nd Team (S262) Finished 94-68 and won WS in BrL in 1st Season. Upgraded team through accumulated PP with likes of Dan T Murphy, Enos Slaughter and Royce Lewis. Feeling confident that we can push for successive promotions even though drawn into a tough division. |

I've added Bill Terry (77OVR version), Joe Medwick, and Socks Seybold to my lineup (oh, and Manny Machado - pulled in a pack - who will be my backup infielder).
Medwick's crushing it so far (.379/.419/.621), but Terry and Seybold are both on struggle street.

My team is 5-6 so far now that we're back in diamond. My team has always been near the top in pitching except the previous time in diamond and now that we're back, we're 11th in runs allowed. Hopefully, this won't continue.
But Ken Boyer and Chuck Klein sure are loving diamond pitching. Klein has 7 HRs in 11 games and Boyer is hitting .463.

Started the season 2-7 before I had to leave for work... hopefully I'm around .500 when I get home.

Well, the Liverpool Walruses seem to be my big competition in D371. They are off to an 11-1 start....

The Becky Lynch Lasskickers are off to a 5-1 start in my Diamond Level league, but I have a bad feeling they're going to be significantly worse when I get off work because my pitching staff has under-performed ever since I hit Diamond. Was hoping to make some upgrades before the season because I have some glaring under-performers, but I wasn't seeing as much this morning as I did over the weekend.
My team goal is to win a Diamond League since that sounds a lot more attainable than beating the All-Mike Trouts. I came kind of close to being relegated last season which I would have been okay with since I feel like I'm not earning enough points to really make too many improvements. OK, let me clarify my statement... when the game REQUIRES me to interact on social media platforms, I'm done. I choose to interact on this message board. I choose to avoid Discord. Got it now?

I guess that anyone who wanted to vote on randomizing the leagues was REQUIRED to interact on this message board to be heard. What is the difference other than you having 7000 posts here? I guess OOTP needs to listen to your wants and needs much more closely and ignore everyone else's.

My Fuquay-Varina team promoted to D359 league. Started out 6-7.
My Lumberton Rockets team stayed in Silver and is in the S328 league. We had a horrible season last year hoping to improve. This is my F2P team and is based on the Pittsburgh Pirates.

What's up neighbor? Looks like the only way we'll face each other is in the World Series. Doubt that's happening. Good luck this season.

So far this season I have earned 70PP...
7-9 currently, my offense still struggling, my pitching middle of the pack.

After getting off to a stellar 7-1 start, the Toms River Little League Champs ran into a buzzsaw of a divisional opponent en route to 6 straight losses and a return to reality. Looks like we might be gunning for a wild card spot this year.
Hopefully the end of 2024 additions of Paxton and Grienke help push us over the hump and make this our first playoff year. |

This is cool.
Does anyone lead the PT Universe in any categories? I mean, with all levels combined. My Sean Doolittle is the PT Universe saves leader with 223 career saves. Second place has 219 saves. Anyway, my gold league start isn't too hot, lost 3 straight to bring me to 10-10 overall, and 1.5 gb - I do not want to start falling GBs early. |
