Scouting Discovery!
Perhaps I never paid enough attention in prior versions. I found what could be my first really, really legit international scouting discovery in over a decade of playing OOTP (Since before OOTP even had this feature).
He may not be Johnny Bench, but he looks pretty promising (Scouts are on so I guess this is not a promise any more than a real life kid).... |

I wouldn't hold out for much with that Catcher 35 for potential is NOT good at all I doubt he make it passed AA or AAA with them potentials

IDK, if he pans out, looks like a .220/.330/.450 type catcher to me? 80/175 BB/K, 30+ HRs.
Not the type of player I'd personally like, as I detest players like that, but certainly not a bust.

The more you put towards international scouting, the better chance you get at finding guys like these. I have 70% put towards international scouting and have gotten four 60+ POT prospects in the past three seasons.

I've been playing since OOTP 12 and in one version (don't remember which) my scout discovered a 16 year old 76 POT Starting Pitcher. I never continued the league long enough to see him pan out but I wish I did.

I lost out on Vlad Jr in a GM only league where my AGM signed discoveries. He went to the Nats.

Let him sit in the complex for a couple years and see what happens. Could be decent but I to see him as trade bait.
