New challenging league

I am going to be doing a series of highly challenging leagues with different themes and formats. The series will be called "Lords of the Realm" and all will include extremely challenging financials (e.g. testing the GM skills).

The first league is ready. The Baseball Association League(BAL).

It is a historically based setup, with fictional players and randomly generated historical players.

The basics are:
-16 teams (2 leagues 1 division each league) no inter-league play, top 4 teams in each league make playoffs.
-Three levels of minors, scouting on, coaching on, overall ratings off, potential 1-20.
- You will build your own scout (at a cost of course)
- We will use Robert McGraw's historical/fictional manager project. You must hire one of these managers for the major league club. Their strategies will be used in running the team during the games.
- Statistics set for mid 1970s (no DH). Finances based on 1960s (trying to keep numbers simple for you).
- 100% revenue/No cash max. You can keep what you make (if you can make it).
- Teams are from the beginning of professional baseball (1 team per city). All logos, caps and jerseys are included.
- Parks are historical, (modified for league balance)
- Will use historical schedules, so expect to deal with double headers)
- Player creation is all standard, league setting on normal/default. Historical players built from real stats, peak season, career for fielding and pitching stamina. Must have 4 years between debut and last season to be included). All historical players enter at age 18.
- I would like to sim daily (7 days per sim). Might go slower if everyone thought they couldn't keep the pace.

would love to get into a scouting and coaches on fictional league...sometimes you just want to fire someone.

Is a team still open?

and is the real player import set in stone? Be nice to have a whole fictional league setup start in 1901...but even with the historical player aspect, this looks like my dream league
