And for the good people reading my nonsense, here's my textures:



Jersey texture, set to multiply, UNDER sleeves, logos, pinstripes, etc. (this was taken from the new NFL nike football jerseys...)



Cap Bill texture, set to overlay



Cap texture, set to multiple, set just above cap color, under logos, bill, button, etc...

Also, I use gimp, so photoshop etc users might have to fiddle. (actual texture from MLB cap!)

Also, Gimp users, to get the nice curve effect like on my Bridges jersey:

LAYER TAB - AUTOCROP LAYER

FILTERS TAB - DISTORTS - CURVE BEND - Set middle of line above, Click Copy, preview and it should work! (Works best with straight text!)

For borders, click on the layer on your Layers, Channels, Paths, Undo window, click ALPHA TO SELECTION!

Layer tab - Create new layer

Select Tab - GROW

Paint on new layer

place new layer under logo

Now go back to L,C,P,U window, click on topmost layer, select merge down, then autocrop! This is how I create the stripes on my sleeves too! Simply go to like a 9 on your sleeve layer, paint, then shrink by 3 and paint the jersey layer!

I really like your Montreal Royals jersey, hat, and logo. It looks very sharp!

Is there any chance you could create another hat and logo that uses the same color and the same script as the "M", but instead of using a "M" substitute it with an "R"?

Unfortunately, it's an image and not a font. If anyone could point me to a good looking font like it, then yeah, it would be easy. What we need is a good zip file of free baseball type fonts.
