There isn't a token for the state or country the player was born in.

2006 Fleer is finished, an email has been sent to PadresFan.

Also I thought I would show some of the cards that have been "put on the back burner", so to speak. For one reason or another I simply lost a bit of interest in them while working on their xml files. Probably won't work on these again until after OOTP 12 is released

1998 Collector's Choice

2004 Donruss

1991 Fleer

2006 Bowman

2009 Bowman

1959 Topps

The rest of the back burner cards.

2006 Fleer Greats of the Game

2005 Donruss Diamond Kings Insert - might make this into a hof/award/as card only

2003 Diamond Kings Diamond Cuts Insert - not sure what I was thinking on this one

I really like the 06 Fleer Greats of the Game. I would use it for the1800s.

So, when I was a kid, baseball cards had some guys NOT wearing their hats. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

I don't believe it's possible. I think facegen always creates a hat for a player.

Additions to 2001 Fleer Platinum

I've started making some award cards and the 01 Platinum is the first to be worked on. The award cards will be based on the "Chart Toppers" cards from the main set (card #'s 400 thru 431). I decided to make another hof card that is loosely based on the "Classic Combinations" insert card and I was able to find a pic of the all star card and was able to cut the logo from it, so there are 2 versions of the hof and all-star card for you to choose from.

new hof

new all star

award card

There will be 2 files for each award, a generic one and one that uses the MLB award names (Cy Young, MVP, Gold Glove and RotY).

01 Platinum, 89 Procards and 90 Post are finished. All 3 sets have 2 versions of each award card, one that uses the real baseball award names and the other uses generic names. You can get them over at PadresFan's site (thanks PadresFan).

Finally finished adding award cards to the sets and got 2 more finished as well. All of the sets have 2 versions of the award cards, 1 uses MLB award names and the other is a generic one for fictional leagues. I sent them PadresFan just a little while ago.

03 Donruss - new All-Star

03 Donruss - new HOF

03 Donruss - award

05 Donruss
- new All-Star fictional leagues

05 Donruss
- new All-Star American League - automatic for any sub league with this name

05 Donruss
- new All-Star National League - automatic for any sub league with this name

05 Donruss
- new HOF

05 Donruss
- award

07 Finest - the only difference is the background, all-star is blue, awards are green and hof is gold

04 Inscribed - new All-Star

04 Inscribed - award - MLB versions have the actual trophy pictured

61 Fleer - It was a bit too solid color wise, so I wanted to do something like BMW's old_carboard file. After quite a few bad ones this one was at least somewhat decent.

new version:

previous version:

01 Showcase - award

06 Fleer Greats of the Game (GotG)

90 Score

American League version

National League version

I am trying to use the 05 Donruss set but the game is throwing up an error message "cannot build baseball card picture file parser failed".

However, if i manually create a card from the player page everything works OK.

I am playing a fictional league if that helps.

Has anyone any ideas?

Many Thanks
