One of the oldest running leagues has 4 openings!

The National Pastime Baseball League (NPBL), one of the longest-running online leagues in operation, has one opening as we begin our 51st season of play! We began as an OOTP4 league in December of 2002, and have been going strong ever since.

The NPBL is a casual, fictional OOTP13 league with no finances. We sim 3 times a week (M-W-F shortly after 8am eastern) and feature a "live" draft each off-season.

I just want to reiterate how much fun this league is. The live draft is a ton of fun and there's a lot of owner stability, so you really get to know the other people in the league.

I find that play with financials turned off helps keep the challenge in the league -- the only ways to improve your team are through drafting or trades, so you need to have a good vision of what you want your team to look like and build toward that. And it helps to allow different strategies (speed, power, defense, etc) to excel as well.

This is the only league I've stuck with over the years. That's ultimately the highest praise I can give it.
