The Paramount Baseball League is entering its 13th season (2022) and have a few openings. Everyone tends to look for new startup leagues so they can build a team they want. You can do the same thing with leagues that have been running a long time and sometimes its easier to do so.

If you want to join a league, that you KNOW will be around for the long haul, then look nowhere else.

This is a very competitive league, we operate with a quick pace. We require board activity and exporting consistently.

That said, we accept OOTP veterans who want to join a FUN and challenging league and we also welcome OOTP newbies looking to jump in and learn from some of the best.

Here are some details on the league:

*We expanded years back to Carolina and Portland
*We just realigned to 4 divisions of 4 teams in each league
*Playoffs are 4 division winners + 2 wild cards in each league
*We use the DH in both the AL & NL to off-set some ootp-quirkiness.
*No Scouts/coaches

Other than that, we are pretty close to the vest in terms of how we run the league.

We sim every other day, hardly EVER missing a sim. Once we hit the trade deadline, we often pick up the pace to a '2-1 schedule'. This means we sim two days in a row then take a day off. The reason for this is because we learned winning teams want to keep going to get to post-season, losing teams want to hurry to get to off-season so they can fix their clubs.

This is the most openings we ever had. Unfortunately we lost some owners due to getting jobs after college, having kids, new job, life in general. Can proudly say, there is only 1-2 owners out of the MANY we had since we started (3 years real life time) who left on bad terms.

With the pace of the league, we don't use the website much outside of downloading files, et. We are more a board oriented league and its ALWAYS active.
