CBL2 Looking for 3 GMs!

Hey all,

Just a heads up, the CBL2 had a few owners resign recently. Looking to fill the Tigers, Reds and Expos immediately now that we are in the off-season!

This is a historical league that just completed its (1973) 13th season!!

Also, as commish I'm willing to give up my team which is very competitive if we can fill a spot (although I know most guys prefer building their own team up from scratch). Regardless, if you're interested, send me an email at:

Love this league - defending champs!

Commish is about as on-time with the sims as any league I've ever been in, and a great group of owners. Can't recommend enough.

I am already in a few leagues and don't think I want a fourth, but this post keeps drawing me back. Could you please post some details about the league rules so that I can make a good decision?

Sure! It's a historical league based in 1973 (off-season currently). We just filled 3 of our 4 openings, and have someone else interested. However, as commish I do run a team and would be willing to give up my team if necessary to add to the league's pool of GMs!

As far as rules go, we use free agency, no recalc (to prevent sure thing prospects), an amateur draft, and free agent compensation. We've completed 13 seasons, sim often, and have a core group of GMs (about 8-10) who have been playing leagues together for about 10 years! We also have a group of GMs (probably 4 or 5) that have been in the league for the last 7 seasons. Two of our recent resignations came from revolving door teams (teams that just can't seem to keep an owner) while the other 2 came from long time players in other leagues that had to quit due to time constraints.

If you are full up again, that is great! Like I said, I am already in a few leagues, so not in a hurry to join another one. Feel free to e-mail me the constitution at dajarmuth@q.com. Even if you are full up, if you are in 1973, you have an expansion coming up soon. Plus, I know, there is always a little bit of turnover.
