Tournament and lending players

Hi all, not sure if this should go here or technical support

In my tournament, the top 8 teams advance to the round-robin, but I was looking forward to the bottom 8 teams playing a round-robin against relegation (bottom 2 or each round-robin group would be relegated).
Scheduling the games was easy enough, but here's the problem: the 8 teams eliminated from the playoffs, gave their players back to the club teams (and the national teams are now filled with ghost players).
The world schedule that I built has it, that no club teams are playing while the National Teams have games.
Is there any way to fix this, i.e. extend the loan period until the end of the playoffs for all teams?

You'd have to setup a separate tournament for the 8 losers

The question is, can this be changed? I.e. Have a check box, saying "Players only returned to their clubs at the end of the tournament"?
