Requests for fictional team sets, at least

CD, as far as your requests on the Graphics Forum, you are probably not going to get anyone to do them... part of the problem is you make your requests too specific... and your instructions are too complicated and too long.

THE BEST WAY TO GET A TEAM SET IS TO KEEP IT SIMPLE... AND ASK FOR JUST ONE TEAM AT A TIME... and do it one thread at a time.

For example:

Need Logo, Home White Jersey, Away Gray Jersey and Cap.
Team Name: Bay City Blue Sox
Team Colors: Dark Blue, Sky Blue and White.

Prefer 1950's style... circular, non-shiny logos... square is OK, too.

I used to get great results 5-10 years ago that way... nowadays this might work sometimes.

The problem is there are very, very few graphics guys that will do a custom set.

The Mad Monk is just about the only one left.

On a rare occasion, txranger will do one... but not regularly.

He sticks mainly to his Retro Thread.

And lately txranger has not been posting... if he stops doing logos and jerseys, that will be a huge, huge loss to the OOTP Graphics Community.

Enjoying your IPA-related updates, and am happy to see the write-ups on several of the Hall of Famers that you've just added to the applicable thread. Think you could do more of them for the Hall of Famers you may not have written up histories for yet? Would really like to see them, I'm sure, Eugene.

As for Mike Jaffe, he was a left fielder, it seems. Think you could post shots related to your versions of the Blue Sox players you put into your IPA and/or other leagues, please? I'd like to be able to put them in my games as well, if possible. Along with anything else I can put into my games related to them, as a matter of fact, of course.

Keep up all the good work on your threads, as best as you can, then, I hope. I often look forward to seeing what else comes from you in them, for sure. May our Lord and our God continue to look after you and all of yours in His perfect will and all, as well, my dear friend. CD out.

To find the writeups for all of the IPA Hall of Famers, just begin on page one of the Islandian Pro Alliance dynasty thread on the Dynasty Forum... and sooner or later you will see the writeups... they should all be there.

As far as posting info about all of the Blue Sox players in the IPA, that would take too much time.

If you want those players in your league, just create them in your own league... you can create players in the Free Agents section of the game... that's what I did.

CD, go to this link... it will give you the writeups for the first inductees to the IPA Hall of Fame... it was dynasty year 2027... the league started in 2001.

Ok, thanks for the information. The Blue Sox players, though, that I was talking about were the ones specifically from the books that you can remember, not any others, you see. They must have really been fun to read from 1947 to 1964, though, I'd guess, for you, when they were first coming out.

But didn't you have a version of the IPA that you kind of lost before the current thread was posted originally? Just curious, that's all. I think you mentioned computer trouble at least once in relation to the IPA and the State Line League, at least, didn't you?

The IPA thread is intact... each season is there... I did have computer problems and had to replay some seasons... I lost 2052 to 2056 a few years ago... I deleted the old writeups and then picked up from 2052... I had a backup that ran through 2051... so I could start over there and save the league.... I thought I had lost it... didn't cover it for four months or so when I found the backup league on my external hard drive... I was really lucky.

That was OOTP12 and that version did not make Hall of Fame baseball cards... sorry, that was quite a few years ago in the early days of the Islandian Pro Alliance... it has gotten much better graphically in later years.

I did not convert it until OOTRP17 when graphics were much better.

I used poor game-created uniforms until about 4 years ago when the guys on the Graphics Forum created 64 logos, jerseys and caps for me.... many of them were home and away... they did an excellent job and made the IPA much better visually.

Sadly, that would never happen today on the Graphics Forum... those guys pretty much have left the Graphics Forum.

Would like to be able to change owners manually for teams, like have them swap ownership of teams, if possible. Does anyone know how I can actually assign owners to different teams, and what happens if you have a team with no owner, for whatever possible reason or reasons? How does one deal with that, folks?

Hope someone can answer these questions for me here. I'm asking this because I might want to have owners switch teams periodically in the related dynasty or dynasties, in truth, et cetera. Can anyone please let me know if it's possible to assign owners to different teams, et cetera, in any known version of OOTP? CD out.

I need a full team set of items, please, for the Amjasi Farmers that will logically flow towards the first set for the Amjasi Hornets. The Farmers began play in 1871 as part of the Slaabovian Baseball Confederation's National Union Association, and we are approaching the 1877 season of play, so any looks should largely reflect the relevant timeframe accordingly, similar to the league-related logos requested in another thread.

Main colors featured should be navy, yellow, green, and white. Would prefer logos that are not circular or square, if possible. Other than the above conditions, you will have full artistic freedom to design items for the Farmers as you see fit here. Any questions, you know what to do. Thanks. CD out.

The Black Guards began play in 1871 as part of the Slaabovian Baseball Confederation's Golden Sun Association, and we are approaching the 1877 season of play, so any looks should largely reflect the relevant timeframe accordingly, similar to the league-related logos requested in another thread.

The Slaabovian Navy's personnel often wear mostly black uniforms, and so do those in its Marine Corps, so please keep that in mind here, if and when you design looks for them here. In fact, those who are in the Navy or Marine Corps for Slaabovia are often called Black Guards, just so you all know this here, by those from Slaabovia and other nearby countries in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Main colors featured should be black, tan, red, and white. Would prefer logos that are not circular or square, if possible.
