New CBA and draft pick compensation

I realize that OOTP always kind of worked this way, with the team signing the FA losing the pick but it not going to the team losing the pick...but curious if the rest of the new compensation rules are modeled correctly in OOTP13?

In my experience they are modeled correctly. Not sure what kind of problem you're seeing.

There is an option to use the brand new CBA in OOTP 13.

As far as I know, OOTP models the new CBA correctly. The only difference I've found is you don't have to make a "qualifying offer" to the compensation-eligible FA, you just check the box to offer him arbitration as you did under the old rules, so no worrying about what exact salary constitutes a qualifying offer.

Thanks. Yeah knew about the option to follow the new CBA. I'm just finishing up my first season with that rule enabled and didn't know if I should expect anything whacky. Thanks for the thoughts everyone.

When?

We are playing with the updated CBA option in our OOTP 13 league. My question is: WHEN do the updated picks show up on the draft order? I thought it would update once the draft pool was released but it did not. Help!

THANKS!!!
