Question How do my other members setup the league?

I've created a new online league and I've been trying to figure out what exactly do I send the other members so that they can establish the league on their systems? What steps do they have to follow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

copy the .dat files and the settings folder. That is the small version.
Compress those into one file, depndign on the size of that file you can compress it again.

My file extensions are always .tar.gz (I use 7-Zip)

Then upload that to your server, they download to their CPU, unzip (once or twice). Place the files and folder in the .lg folder in Saved Games and they have the league.

When you say "I have created an online league".
You have all the FTP info in the game?
You have them set up as managers in the game?
If you set passwords for them do they have them?
... There is something I am not thinking of...
Hopefully someone will catch the thing or two I am forgetting.

Okay, I don't want them to have to download additional software so I can just ZIP the .DAT files, the Settings folder, and since we use custom logos, the news\html\images\team_logos folder.

But then I will need to explain to them that they have to create the .lg folder and then unzip the files to there. Does that sound correct?

And yes, all the FTP info has been setup; they have all been setup as managers; I will email them their passwords once I have the file up on my FTP Server.

They will need a compression program if you zip to decompress the folder on their computer. There are a bunch of free/trial compression programs available.

Yes the rest sounds good. My images folder is almost the size of my .dats and settings combined. Yours will probaly be smaller. Mine is 74.4 MB and the others are 83 MB. I do not know a ton about upload so you may be able to do it without zipping.
