What's your game play status?

Right now,I've got 2013-14 NHL,AHL,ECHL and KHL and custom league KHL-North America.

Not playing too many games at the present time.

Waiting too see what the next patch brings us and hoping for more editing features.

I'm pretty much doing the same. I believe this next patch is probably gonna be massive in terms of addons and changes by the silence on the forums of late lol. Which isn't such a bad thing =)

I'm waiting to play too.....NHL is what I'll play.....want to be a team from each conference......patiently waiting for the patch and then the big fix......

I ran some test leagues. Got to 2018 before crashing out with one and got to 1978 in a historical before crashing out. In a bit of a holding pattern right now. There is so much right with this game, but the patches are definitely needed.

Game is unplayable as is for me. Waiting for another patch to hopefully make this game somewhat fun.

Haven't played football mogul but have been living out the dream in NHL 14 online in club. FHM right now is an afterthought but still check the forums daily to bring me back in.

My biggest problem with the game is not that it crashes, screws up, does weird things, it's that it is boring to play. Graphically, it's a sore spot on the eyes to be honest, so much wasted room and I dont even bother going into a game to watch it because it's so slow and there is nothing I can do there.

Not sure what you can do about it to "fun" it up but right now, it's a shelf item

That being said, I do like the game, just hard time getting into it

Same here ... started a historical NHL season (1978) and a DEL-season, but haven't touched it for over two weeks.

I hoped that the first patch would make this game playable - much more than it did, so I hope and wait for the next patch.

On hold until the patch comes out, then its wait and see. Playing Action Hockey for now. Hoping the game play becomes more compelling.

Only this is the first year i haven't bought EA's NHL so I play Football Manager 2012.

Back to OOTP baseball. Game developers should have paid more attention to OOTP baseball as a reference for hockey.
Game is too slow and inflexible, it appears it was rushed to market to meet September deadline.

This years football manager is okay. Nothing too spectacular. It works. I started a season with an expansion team and still working on some defensive playbook plays that can stop the run. Toronto Rage is 0-3 so far. Its a fun sim with lots of in depth stats.

Playing Action PC Hockey for now, Haven't played FHM in weeks, just isn't any Fun. Really looking forward to next patch - hopefully it will become a little more interesting. Still have high hopes.

I agree that it is unplayable right now. But it will get better. Playing OOTP14 and EHM right now.

Without looking to the features they add each year I can tell you that Football Manager is worth the money each year.

It's by far the best sport managing game on earth if you like soccer of course.

The only reason I nowadays don't upgrade each year is because of Steam integration. I've bought them all until FM 2012 when they went to Steam integration. Now I only buy them once every 3 or 4 years depending on how much I like the current game.

Still playing FM 2012 and it's still very exciting, I've worked my team Braintree FC from the very bottom (amateur) leagues in England to almost a Premier League club in 12-14 years and still this game doesn't get boring.

So I prolly will not buy FM 2014 - maybe FM 2015 for me.
