Opening day for 2000s Champions League
The Cardinals have set their roster for the season.
Starting rotation Chris Carpenter Matt Morris Woody Williams Jeff Suppan Jason Marquis Bullpen RHP -- Alberto Reyes RHP -- Kiko Calero RHP -- Cal Eldred LHP -- Steve Kline LHP -- Ray King RHP -- Julian Taveras Cl -- Jason Isringhausen (R) Position players -- starters C -- Mike Matheny 1B -- Albert Pujols 2B -- Tony Womack SS -- Edgar Renteria 3B -- Scott Rolen LF -- Reggie Sanders CF -- Jim Edmonds RF -- Larry Walker Reserves C -- Yadier Molina OF/1B -- John Mabry IF -- Hector Luna IF/OF -- Marlon Anderson OF -- Ray Lankford Note: Womack and Sanders will go into the season with day-to-day injuries. Sanders seems more serious so he may sit some early games until I get a diagnosis. Womack's will probably play through his injury and not miss much time.
