For Stan Musial fans

At the end of 1963 Musial concludes his career with 8 mvp awards, 501 home runs and 4,117 hits and a .343 career avg
Started this league in 1871. Keep seeing little surprises here and there.
Think i will do review of each season once i get to 2019.

Shame he retired, looked like he might of had one or 2 more productive seasons possible.

Elected in 1969 along with Yogi Berra and Jim Bottomley.
I think Bottomley was by my version of veterans committe.

I was using the real transactions.
Just finished the 1995 season and he is
still the all time hits leader.
At this point i dont expect anyone to top it since Rose didn't do it.
Maybe Jeter?

He's a HOFer in my random debut league also. Debuted in...1905, if I remember right, and still going pretty strong in 1922. Over 3100 hits and still counting, lifetime average over .300, around 100 home runs (not that impressive until you consider most of his career was during the Dead Ball Era here). The cream always rises to the top, I guess.
