Era Appropriate Salaries
I started a fictional league in 1950 to get back into the game while waiting, eagerly, for FHM4. I would like the player salaries and team budgets to be more era appropriate, one player's salary is probably bigger than the entire league salary total in the '50's. Did I miss a setting? And is it possible to eliminate OT and have regulation time ties?

Out of curiosity, which numbers did you get? I always thought that the salaries were quite reasonable when compared to the few examples of players' salaries that are available. For example, in the 1959-60 game I just started, Maurice Richard makes only $1,500 more than he did in real life ($25,000 vs $26,500). It seems relatively accurate to me, but maybe I'm mistaken.

I think the OP talks about a fictional game. The ERA adjusted values are only used in historical games, in fictional the start year is only cosmetic.
