Well I had almost finished writing a long post inlcuding screen caps about finally winning the World Series after 5 disappointing years in the playoffs but I was logged out of the site before finishing it
. I'll just show the schedule.
Anyway, I came back down 2-1 in the division series including two comeback wins in games 4 and 5. Then went down 3-0 in the LCS including blowing a 9 run lead in game 2 and managed to do the improbable, coming back and winning in 7 games. The World Series was not as dramatic, though I did have a walk off HR to win game 2 and was almost no hit in game 5, ended up winning in 6 games, being up 2-0 and 3-1 during the series. My breakout star SS Marco Luciano won the series MVP for every series which was incredible. My trade deadline pick ups came up huge, my star hitters finally showed up in the playoffs and though my pitching had some rough times in the LCS they were generally solid.
I had never made it to the World Series before and was convinced in each series I wouldn't make it again. Was a crazy playoffs and just wanted to share with people who would understand how fun/stressful this would be
