Updating in 2.5 - Page 2

I am so dumb. The error has to be in the first updates AFTER that date, and sure enough Vince Paras was added on 21 May 2018 with no extid. I'm convinced that's what hangs the updates in 2.5.

So if you use a date before this they will work?

It will pick up everything before Paras. You can then switch the date to after and pick up to the next entry without an extid.

I went through the whole fighter list, all 95 pages of it, and found four who have blank boxrec IDs:

Name Correct BoxRec ID

Marlen Esparza 787646
Edwin Malave 30166
Jamie Mitchell 784083
Vince Paras 725593

If we can get those corrected, maybe the updates will load in 2.5 without further problems

Did this get sorted can you download an updated DB been working through updating the heavyweights on 2.5, but if its working it would save alot of time.

The work around should still work, though you may have to experiment with later dates. Once you find a working date you should have no further problems.

Thanks pilight i searched around and changed line to 'Domain=tbdata.titleboutboxing.com' and it worked for importing fighters with your dates. Not on other two though so will change dates on others to to see if they can work.

Hello everyone!
I've been trying to get the game going on a new laptop running Windows 11 and I'm using TBCB 2.5.27...

My problem is when I try to Update data pool I was able to get the Biographies with the provided date but for both data and rating records I get the "Invalid data or error writing record to file" error...

Can anyone help me with this please?

I put in 20220917 and it was able to successfully download data and rating records... am I good now or is there something else I need to do?

The dates furthest back that worked for me are:

You're good for creating a new uni. For existing universes you'll need to click "Update From Pool" from inside the uni.
