Trade Frequency Broken

OK, maybe not the trade but with the latest patch, trade offer frequency is broken with latest patch.
A little background. I play historical with trade frequency set to low. Trading set to hard/neutral. I never initiate trades since I have an unfair advantage advantage over the AI but occasionally will accept a trade offer, once every couple years, if it benefits both teams. Usually I get a trade offer about every 3 or 4 weeks, or less, even after accepting a trade offer.
Well with this patch, I got a trade offer about a week before the trade deadline which I accepted and then I started getting trade offers EVERY other day until the trade deadline. I thought OK, they made adjustment in the patch to make trade activity more active just prior to trade deadline, cool. Fast forward to season end. Normally at seasons end I will fast forward to draft day with maybe one stoppage for a trade offer. This time I was getting stoppage EVERY OTHER DAY with a trade offer. I switched trade frequency to very low but same thing. Went back to low setting and put my asst GM in charge of trades and thought he would make 1 trade which I could live with since trade frequency is set to low. Wrong. He made 5 trades in 2 weeks so I took over trade control again. To stop all the trade offer interruptions, I went into the GM manager options and turned of the notifications of trades. Now every 4 or 5 days I get a personal message stoppage from the asst GM saying we we should try to acquire so and so.
I guess I never should have accepted that trade offer before the trade deadline. Luckily I made a backup of my league on opening day so I can replay the season without accepting the trade offer.
Basically, since this latest patch, if I accept a trade offer I will be constantly be bombarded with trade offers or messages from asst GM to inquire about so and so. In the past even if I accepted a trade offer, I would only get trade offers every 2 or 3 weeks.
CHANGE IT BACK, so if you you have trade frequency set to low, you only get a trade offer once every 2 or 3 weeks, even after accepting a trade!!!

PS replayed last season but DID NOT accept any trade offers. This time received NO trade offers between end of season and draft day. Last time had about 30 trade offers after accepting 1 trade offer.
