Minor league Size
I play Standard game with MLB players and teams. At work and just thought of this. Is there anywhere that I can set a limit of players on my minor league teams. I have 40 on one of my teams and when I tried to go to next day, it would not let me. It said I don't have enough players on my lowest minor league team.
Thanks |

Curious as well. I like having the AI control my minors and my A team ends up with 40 players while my GCL team doesnt get any players added, just taken away to the point that im under the required amount

in the settings on certain pages there is a drop-down box roughly in the top-right portion of the screen. it's easy to miss.
so, the same settings page that you set the mlb roster limits on should also have the settings for each of your minor leagues via that drop-down box. i could be wrong... but if it is a different page, you still need to make use of that drop-down box. |

Just make sure that the lowest level of minors has a pretty big roster (35 at least), else the AI ends up releasing good players.

Go to the league set up for the minor league. Under either rules or options, I don't remember which, there is a spot to set maximum number of players on the roster.

Aaaah ok here was what my problem was. I had 25 active roster limit, but that was for MLB. I found the drop down box for the league and that should fix everything now. Thank you

In my MLB-style games, I use the real-life limits at all levels, except I bump it up by one for the levels that have a limit of 25. Since I handle my minor league transactions, that makes it easier to send guys on rehab assignments because in OOTP, rehabbing players count toward the minor league roster (in real life, they don't). |
