Help with stranding runners
1. Any advice for a team that leaves a lot of runners on base? I'm leaving like 7 or 8 per game. Other than getting better hitters, what else can you do to try and fix this problem?
2. Despite what sabermetrics say, does small ball work better in OOTP? Should I be be bunting more? |

1. Not sure what you could do about it - however is your lineup set up properly?
2. If you play out your games, if you have a good bunter that isn't that good a hitter and quite fast, I let him bunt with 0 or 1 strikes if the opponent has his infield playing straight away - they'll often move the 3rd baseman (bunt for hit) or corners (sac bunt) in, then I let him swing away, the holes in the defense should be bigger then and occasionally he'll get himself a bunt single before that. |
