Curious... how many OOTP users use Photoshop?

How many own or have access to Photoshop (or GIMP/Corel Photopaint)?

For my job I create a lot of baseball related graphics. Was wondering if I create Photoshop templates for the OOTP community, if there are enough ppl who could take advantage of using them? Not sure how much I could convert to a GIMP file, but I could try and see.

Just curious.

Attached is an example of 1 type of template (template meaning any & everything is editable/customizable/changeable - text, logos, photos, colors, etc.)

The biggest diff between Elements & Photoshop would be color overlays I use. Elements does not support that layer style as far as I know.

But if there are enough Element users vs standard Photoshop users, then I could convert the files down to Element.

Another tool I use a lot is text warping which Elements is missing, but not sure if Elements supports text along a path ability as another option?

I'll play around with Elements to see...

I use Paint Shop Pro and can open most PSD files. Some layer properties get merged down but I can usually use these. Occasionally I find a template (for racing games) that all layers get merged down. I have PS 7 which I use if the layers do get merged.

example of layers I use to make customization easier. not sure how much of my layer styles/formatting will transpose over to other programs outside of photoshop. it appears just from quick reading on elements that most of the formatting should carry over. haven't had a chance to goof around inside of elements yet.

I use GIMP, Paint, PhotoFiltre, and sometimes InPaint. I had the trial version of Photoshop..but I am not spending 40 bucks/month for programs I can get for free.

I have entire Adobe package licensed and use all of it. Sadly, I have all of the creative design skills of a drunken ferret.

Gimp user here.

If I'm not mistaken, Gimp opens psd files without much loss in quality (if any). But don't take my word for it. I haven't used PS in ages.

Nice template by the way.

I use both Photoshop, and Illustrator. Though Illustrator for my OOTP purposes is to make in game logos.

I do have and use photoshop, but I have skills somewhat below the level of a drunken ferret.
