Schedule request 20T 1L 4D 162G
If any of the talented schedule makers have time/interest for this, I would love to have the following schedule:
1 League 20 Teams 4 Divisions of 5 teams each 18 games against each of the other four teams in the division 6 games against each of the non-division teams If my math is right, that means 4X18=72 games in the division, and 15X6=90 games out of division, for a total of 162 games. Thanks in advance if anyone would like to put together such a schedule. Cheers. Last edited by risp2out; 09-19-2016 at 10:17 AM. |

I was really amazed that we do not have many one subleague schedules for 20 teams, here's one to add to the schedule list.
An oldie but a goodie from my personal collection from 2007 or 2008: I believe created originally by GMO but it did not have his normal file name format so I may be wrong. Modified for 20 teams by me. # 20 team schedule, 162 games # Designed for the following configuration: # 1 league, with 4 divisions, each with 5 teams, # # 72 games in the division (36H/36A) # 18 games against other 4 teams of division (9H/9A) # # 90 games outside division, in league (45H/45A) # 6 games against other 15 teams of league # (mostly 3H/3A, but two 2H/4A & two 4H/2A) At the time this was done to keep the schedule in the 182 day MLB format # # No cases of more than 20 straight days without offday # # Offdays only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, # No homestands or roadtrips longer than 14 games # # All game times set at 7pm ET # # posted 2016/09/19 # Last edited by SandMan; 09-19-2016 at 12:12 PM. |

Thanks so much. That's awesome.
By the way, is there an easy way to make one or two games per week day games, or does this have to be done manually? I don't know much about schedule making. |

I had always wished that the data line could add a field dayofweek="Sun" etc so it would be easier to edit and to see what day the games are played when you view the lsdl file. Pretty much would like to see it close to the retrosheet schedule file and instead of a time field have a "d", "e", "n", "dh" and then have each team have a time field in the team setup so each team can input their own times.
