Getting a win without playing?
Just played a game in which a my pitcher was credited with a win even though he never appeared in the game.
won the game in bottom of the 9th, had him warming up but sat him down (actually had someone else warming up after). weird. |

Are you sure you did not click on the green + and put him in the game instead of clicking on the red - and sat him down?

Ahh, never considered that, but still, he never appeared in the game. kinda a weird bug if that's the case. Could be a cheap way of getting pitchers a win once in awhile.- insert them as pitcher in between innings, when tied, and getting last at bat.

It would be nice if the game allowed you to change which pitcher is credited with the win when the situation is not clear.

Yeah I agree, I am pretty sure this has been reported in past versions and they are aware of it but would have to rewrite some of the code to fix it. I am sure it's on their plate to do but it's kind of a small bug. A workaround is to not change pitchers until the inning is over and game is still tied.
