More Mac friendliness.
Apple-A is supposed to be select all
Apple-C is Copy Apple-V is Paste Apple-S is Save Apple-P is Print There's a few others, but you get my drift. I know you guys are awesome and have many demands. I would request this...and maybe announcer voices for Mac too... Pleeeeeeeeaase?

It uses "windows text to speach" ( I think that's what it's called) and is very cool though it has it's shortcomings. It literally reads the pbp text in whatever mode you are playing in.
Too me it doesn't work well with the full pbp description. The play on the field is well over and you wait for the audio pbp to catch up. I use it with the short pbp and that times up pretty well with the on field action and includes the "normal" in season or in game stat blurbs. The only long delays are in some player introductions (especially pitchers at beginning of game or relievers as it goes through their season stats when they enter a game), long drawn out plays (several runners advancing on one play etc.), and the dreaded long rain delay (where it reads out "still raining" about 40 times if it's a hour delay ). The trouble in the short pbp results is it includes things like "fly out 8XD" or "ground ball 56" being read out. This, while noticeable, is minor when I can play out the game, listen, and never have to read the text Text to speech along with the new "full screen" modern game view has taken the game to a whole new level for me. I absolutely loved reading the text in past versions with it's depth but, after using TTS the last two versions, I would never want to go back. |

Am I the only one who doesn't care about this feature all that much? I mean, if we're talking real life announcers commentating on the game, like Joe Buck or Harold Reynolds or Buster Olney, then that might be cool for the first few runs. But I usually just listen to music, podcasts, or nothing at all while I'm playing.
