Championship series vs a "Whale"
Time to see how I fare vs this squad 115-47 regular season.
Full diamond rotation and 5 diamond position players vs my 2 diamond squad. Not sure if he is truly a whale as I think his squad was pretty decked out before being able to buy PP. Might have opened a Perfect and sold it for the minimum 50k Game 1: In a fantastic game, the Lexington Generals took home a 1-0 win in dramatic fashion as Rafael Palmeiro hit a leadoff HR in the top of the 11th. Bob Feller held the Barryland Barrys to 1 hit over 7 innings while Josh Hader and Edwin Diaz shut the door allowing only 1 hit in 4 innings of relief. Lexington leads the series 1-0 Game 2: Another Close game won by the Generals 3-2. A 3 run 8th inning pushed the Generals past the Barrys as the bullpen had a another shut down performance giving up 0 runs over 2 and 2/3rds. The series now moves to Lexington as the Generals hold a 2-0 series lead. Game 3: In what is turning into quite a dramatic series, the Generals walk off the Barrys with a pinch hit single by Enrique hernandez after the Barrys tied the game in the 9th. Lexington leads the series 3-0 Game 4: Barryland puts one in the win column 6-3 over Lexington. Barry Bonds shined for the Barrys hitting a home run and tallying 3 RBIs. Game 5: The Barrys pick up their second win at Battle Field. It was all Barryland as they cruise past the Generals 7-3. The series shifts back to Barryland with the Generals holding onto a 3-2 series lead. Game 6: The Generals close out the series with a dominating 8-3 win. The Barrys got the scoring started in the 2nd with a run scoring single from Lorenzo Cain but Severino settled in and didn't give up anymore runs. The Generals tacked on 8 runs of their own and celebrated the series win 8-3. Last edited by AdamD; 11-11-2018 at 05:36 PM. |

Well, your rotation seems stacked as well. This will be a good battle. Good luck!
Edit: Maybe this is actually Barry Bonds who you're playing here...

I remember him from the entry pool. He was stacked from day one. He either opened a perfect and sold it for infinite PP or he used multiple accounts.

that's a likely reason there are more than a few stacked teams. this is what beta was designed to find out, so hopefully these kinda bugs wont happen next month also when the beta is over, some of these guys with stacked teams may not have the experience of how best to use the bronzes and commons that most people had to start with Last edited by Whoofe; 11-11-2018 at 08:09 PM. |

Congratulations AdamD and the Lexington Generals.
It was a good series with some excellent pitching by both sides. A pity for me some of my batters failed to fire (J.D Martinez with a respectable 0-23 in the series) I'm the proud owner of Barryland Barrys. Just registered an account on the forum. There was no cheating or tomfoolery in the making of my team and I never opened a perfect player (100). I did however have very good luck in my early card packs which allowed me to create a strong team early on (that luck has not continued recently unfortunately). Good luck in the World Series Lexington!!! |

Hey! It was an exciting series. Like I said I remembered your team having a lot of diamond and gold before Thursady so I figured you did get lucky with your packs. We may be in the same AAA league so I look forward to some more games.
