1. call the pitch like curve slider as to what the pitcher has available.

2. also box a dot to show where catcher sets his glove.

3. rework the balls and runners so it's more precise.

I will say this, I like the new ootp 19.

Anyone agree or disagree.

I'm fairly sure the game doesn't internally do pitch locations or things like a pitcher setting up a batter for a pitch. One pitch doesn't affect the next pitch, etc.

If the game were to show the kind of pitch information you ask for, it would probably have to be fake information that is actually useless and misleading to the player, which is a bit similar to the way the 3D is now, which shows a loose representation of what happened, where only a few bits of information (like hit location) are used and the rest is made up.

To do this kind of pitching for real, it would require a huge reworking of the way the game processes ABs, and it'd probably be difficult to keep the statistical realism and accuracy since this would introduce a more complex relationship between the different pitches and ratings.

But yeah, improvements to the 3D display logic to make it appear more realistic would always be welcome.
